I hope this is the end of it, but today’s edition of the Concord Monitor carried Wagman’s essay, using the gentler, but less accurate title of “It’s time to pull out the tubes and allow my father to die.”

I sent a letter to the editor of the Concord Monitor (which was posted) reading:
REGARDING “PULL THE PLUG”
My condolences to the father. It must be excruciating to face death knowing his daughter wishes him dead. Perhaps in the next life she can explain to him why she could not love him as he was, however he was.
