Who We Are” to “Not Dead Yet’s team works every day to oppose all new assisted suicide and euthanasia laws in every state. To find out who we are…

Meet The Team

Core Beliefs

We Oppose Assisted Suicide and Euthanasia.

We do not want assisted suicide and euthanasia to be legal. We fight them in every state.

We Support Health Care, Not Death

We fight for good palliative care and long-term services and supports in the community.

We Defend Informed Consent

We fight to make sure that any choice to end health care that keeps you alive is made fairly. We believe people should have real choices. Not fake ones where they choose between dying and being in pain. They must know what will happen if they stop getting any kind of health care. They must be told what their health care does.

We Fight "Medical Futility" Rules

We are against rules that allow doctors to decide if a disabled or ill person's health care treatment should end. This includes health care that keeps a person alive. The person should make that choice, not their doctor.

The Same Laws for Everybody

We believe people who murder should go to jail for murder even if the victim is old, ill, or disabled. So-called “mercy killings” are always murder and never right.

How We Work

Simple Language

We present our arguments in plain, direct language so everyone can understand what is at stake.

Grassroots Action

We ask people to share their stories and contact lawmakers at the state level. We organize big protests, action alerts, and events. We send letters, kick butt, and take names.

We Advocate for Good Health Care

Instead of dealing death, we try to make people’s lives better. We fight for palliative care, home health services, and community living supports.
